Journeys was established by Jean & Ron Hopkins. Jean has been in the travel industry for over 25 years. Darla & Jim Hopkins came on board in 2007. Ron & Jean stepped aside to pursue other career opportunities.

Jim retired from the phone company after 35 years of service. He was a project manager in the engineering department. Before Darla retired, she was in the health care field as an office manager for a doctor and also was clinic director for a free clinic. Darla & Jim still volunteer at the free clinic every week.

They both love to travel and have been on about 30 cruises and have been to several all inclusive resorts. They have also traveled to Russia, Ukraine and Israel. In the summer of 2009 they took a 16 day cruisetour (cruise and land) to Alaska. It is something every one should experience.

They have put together a fund raising cruise for the free clinic they volunteer and raised almost $2,000 for the clinic. What a way to raise money for your organization just get your group to go on a cruise.
